The latest market talks on Energy and Utilities spotlight Seatrium and BP, with updates released at 4:20, 12:20, and 16:50 ET.

Seatrium’s S$100 million in year‑to‑date order wins remains modest, but a pipeline of S$32 billion over 24 months underpins a projected S$4.4‑8.5 billion annual win through 2030, according to Morningstar analyst Chokwai Lee. Non‑core asset divestments are expected to lift the company’s results, and the fair‑value estimate was raised 4% to S$2.90.

BP’s new chief, Meg O’Neill, is already reshaping the group. She put the U.S. biogas venture Archaea on the market and is selling U.K. North Sea assets, signalling a shift away from reliance on high oil and gas prices. Investment director Russ Mould notes the need for resilience in a changing backdrop.

Both stocks reflected the commentary: Seatrium shares fell 1.4% to S$2.18, while BP shares rose 1% to 557.70 pence. Analysts see the new strategies as a foundation for long‑term growth amid energy security and green transition demands.
