Ukrainian officials report that Russian military drones tested in Zaporizhzhia use Nvidia Jetson Orin microcomputers for fully autonomous AI-guided strikes. These civilian-grade devices, designed for robotics and machine vision, were found in drone wreckage and on a new S-71M Monochrome missile. Unlike earlier systems requiring human confirmation, these drones leave target selection entirely to the onboard AI.

Nvidia states it does not sell these products in Russia, but they are widely available through resale markets, making them nearly impossible to track. The circuit boards are stamped 'Made in China.' The Red Cross and rights groups oppose autonomous targeting systems. Nvidia emphasizes the Jetson Orin is not designed for military use and is sold to students and developers for beneficial applications, such as quality control in manufacturing.
