Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Sunday that Israel will not accept the 15-point plan for Gaza set out by President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace. Speaking at a Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu clarified that the IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is completely disarmed, emphasizing that they require genuine disarmament, not a fictitious one.

The proposal calls for a phased withdrawal of Israeli troops alongside the disarmament of Hamas. However, Hamas has previously stated it would only disarm after a complete Israeli withdrawal and the establishment of a Palestinian state. Netanyahu reaffirmed his stance, stating, "as long as I am Prime Minister, there will be no Palestinian State."

This rejection comes amid growing tensions between the White House and Israel's leadership. While Trump has touted a breakthrough, Hamas official Basim Naeem called for mediators to exert pressure on Netanyahu to abide by the roadmap. The conflict continues to take a heavy toll, with over 73,000 people killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, according to health officials.
