Andrew Tate faces renewed scrutiny in U.K. sex crime probe

Hertfordshire Constabulary announced it will reopen the 11-year-old investigation into sex crime allegations against the controversial influencer Andrew Tate. The decision follows a police watchdog's review of potential misconduct by officers handling the case in 2015. Three women separately accused Tate of sexual assault and rape during that investigation, but prosecutors declined to charge him both in 2019 and 2025.

The women, who detailed their claims in a 2024 civil suit, called the reinvestigation 'long overdue' and argued police failed to adequately investigate at the time. Tate, who denies all allegations, faces multiple criminal investigations in Britain, Romania, and the United States.
