The strategy includes developing dual-use technology for both commercial and military applications, mirroring China's successful approach. This focus on a supply chain free of Chinese components, termed a "red-free chain," has garnered support from the US. The "Taiwan Excellence Drone Industry Business Opportunities Alliance" unites over 200 members, including electronics specialists like Coretronic and Qisda Corp.

Investor confidence is rising, with shares in companies like Thunder Tiger and Evergreen Aviation Technologies seeing significant gains. While challenges like accusations of Chinese-linked parts exist, Taiwan's established expertise in manufacturing, from R&D to global sales, positions drones for potential success.
