LVMH's fashion and handbags division has seen revenue return to growth for the first time in two years, with a 1 percent organic increase to €8.9bn in the second quarter. This marks an end to seven consecutive quarters of decline, attributed to strong US sales and a recovery at Dior under new creative director Jonathan Anderson.

Sales at both Louis Vuitton and Dior grew, with Dior performing "slightly above" the broader business, according to CFO Cécile Cabanis. Anderson's new collections have reportedly boosted Dior handbag and ready-to-wear sales, with double-digit growth in the US and Japan.

Overall group sales rose 3 percent to €19.5bn, though profit from recurring operations fell 4 percent in the first half due to currency fluctuations. Jewellery and watch sales increased by 11 percent, driven by Tiffany and Bvlgari, while wine and spirits saw a 6 percent rise.
