Legora, a Swedish legal‑AI start‑up, is in early talks to raise funds at a valuation of at least $10bn, roughly double the $5.6bn it hit four months ago. The move signals intense interest in AI tools that power professional services.

The company offers lawyers and in‑house teams tools to review, draft and due‑diligence documents, and keep up with regulations. Clients include Linklaters, Deloitte and Heineken. Its main rival, US start‑up Harvey, is reportedly seeking a valuation of around $15bn.

Legora has grown its annual recurring revenue by 50 % to $150mn in Q2 and plans to more than double staff from 700 to 1,500 by year‑end as its customer base rises by a quarter to 1,500 in three months. Sweden has become an AI hotspot, with Lovable raising $400mn at a valuation of $13.3bn.

Venture firms such as Sequoia and Andreessen Horowitz have been eyeing Stockholm investments, and Swedish AI groups like Sana were acquired by Workday for $1.1bn last year. Legora’s expansion reflects a broader push for European AI leadership amid dominant US players.
