Europe's Best Employers 2026 ranking, compiled by the Financial Times and Statista, is out. The list of 1,000 companies was built from more than 6 million employee evaluations across the continent. The dominant sector was IT, Internet, Software and Services, followed by manufacturing and retail.

Germany hosted the most headquarters on the list with 269 companies, ahead of France at 168 and the UK at 137. London, Paris, and Dublin led the city rankings. Companies needed at least 500 European employees and presence in two or more countries to qualify.

The scoring model weighs personal evaluations at 65 percent and public perception at 35 percent, with current-year data weighted 60 percent. This matters because employer brand now drives recruitment budgets across Europe.
