Anthropic will distribute its Mythos artificial intelligence model to 150 organizations globally, expanding access beyond the US and UK. The move comes a day after Anthropic filed for an IPO that could value the company at $1 trillion, highlighting the growing commercial and geopolitical significance of AI for national security.

The extension of Project Glasswing will reach more than 15 countries, including members of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance and key European nations. Companies gaining access include Okta, Samsung, SK Hynix, and SK Telecom. NATO and the EU's cybersecurity agency Enisa have also been granted access to the advanced cyber defense tool.

Anthropic warns that without proper safeguards, similar AI models could enable more frequent and unpredictable cyber attacks. The company estimates that attacks on partners' systems could affect over 100 million people, with significant implications for global security. This expansion signals increasing demand for AI-powered cybersecurity solutions amid rising digital threats.
