Lori Hall-Kimm, the global private equity head at Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HIPP), is departing the firm to pursue another opportunity.

Mark Cormier and Roman Gula, both managing directors within the private equity group, will serve as acting co-heads on an interim basis and report to Chief Investment Officer Michael Wissell, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg.

The memo did not specify Hall-Kimm's next role or timeline for the transition. HIPP did not respond to requests for additional comment.

Hall-Kimm's departure comes as institutional investors continue to navigate shifting market conditions and evolving private equity strategies. Her replacement will oversee one of the largest pension fund private equity portfolios globally.

The interim leadership structure places Cormier and Gula directly under Wissell, maintaining continuity within the investment team during the search for a permanent successor.
