The government now sees gross domestic product rising 3.7% this year, up from a May estimate of 2.7%, the ministry of economic growth said on Thursday. The upward revision reflects stronger-than-anticipated domestic demand and export performance linked to the commercial success of Wegovy, Novo Nordisk’s oral semaglutide treatment for obesity.
