MiniMax Group, the Chinese AI upstart, has seen its annualized revenue more than double over the past two months. The company is preparing to launch its next flagship model as it seeks to attract developers and enterprise clients. Co-founder and President Yun Yeyi confirmed the significant growth trajectory during an interview with Bloomberg Television at the UBS Asian Investment Conference in Hong Kong.

Annual recurring revenue has exceeded the company's own projections, driven by an influx of users adopting MiniMax's M2.7 model released in mid-March. The platform now serves more than one million users for AI-based enterprise services, marking a fivefold increase from just six months ago. This rapid adoption demonstrates strong market demand for Chinese AI solutions amid global competition.

The growth positions MiniMax as a significant player in China's expanding AI landscape as competition intensifies both domestically and internationally. The company's focus on enterprise services suggests a deliberate strategy targeting business applications rather than consumer-facing products. This trajectory indicates Chinese AI companies are gaining substantial market momentum against established global players.
