Matt Dalton, a fixed-income portfolio manager who in 2002 founded Belle Haven Investments out of a former broker-dealer firm, has died. He was 62.

He died on Aug. 21 at his home in Katonah, New York, according to his daughter, Bridget.

Dalton led Belle Haven Investments, a firm specializing in fixed-income strategies, for over two decades. His death marks a significant loss to the investment community.
