Lyntris Inc. shares fell 14% on the first day of trading after the company and some of its shareholders raised $297.5 million in a downsized initial public offering. The sensor‑technology company closed at $15.01 each on Wednesday, below its IPO price of $17.50 per share.

Lyntris and a group of its backers sold 17 million shares after marketing them for $19 to $22 each. The offering was reduced from the original target range, reflecting weaker demand.

The debut on the New York Stock Exchange occurred on Aug. 19, 2026, with trading beginning under the ticker LYTR. Analysts noted the pricing gap as a sign of investor caution toward defense‑tech offerings.

Despite the first‑day slip, the company raised substantial capital to fund its sensor‑technology roadmap, and officials said they remain focused on long‑term growth.
