InMobi Pte has appointed four banks for an initial public offering over the next few months to raise about $1 billion for the Indian mobile advertising company. The Bengaluru-based firm selected JPMorgan and Jefferies as lead advisors, alongside two other unnamed financial institutions, to manage the listing process.

The IPO marks a significant milestone for one of India's most prominent ad-tech startups. InMobi, founded in 2007, operates a mobile advertising and discovery platform serving brands and developers globally. The company has previously raised capital from investors including SoftBank Group and Kleiner Perkins.

Market conditions will determine the exact timing and valuation of the offering. The $1 billion target suggests InMobi aims for a substantial public market debut, potentially becoming one of the largest Indian tech IPOs in recent years. Proceeds would likely fund expansion, technology development, and potential acquisitions in the competitive digital advertising landscape.
