Bangladesh is seeking additional liquefied natural gas cargoes as the Iran war continues to disrupt flows through key supply routes. State-owned Rupantarita Prakritik Gas is seeking three shipments for delivery in September, following a recent tender for five cargoes. The South Asian country previously sourced more than 60% of its LNG from regional suppliers last year, according to ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg.

The ongoing conflict has heightened energy security concerns across South Asia, prompting Bangladesh to diversify its procurement strategy. The new tender reflects the country's efforts to secure adequate supplies amid volatile global LNG markets and geopolitical uncertainty.
