Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.’s shipping arm spent $444 million on two newbuild LNG ships set for delivery in 2029. The company has now spent $2.7 billion on vessels this year, including newbuild commitments and existing ships. Adnoc L&S will own 24 LNG carriers upon delivery.

The purchases support expanded energy exports in the coming years. The order extends a recent spree of vessel acquisitions by the UAE’s largest oil and gas producer.
