### AI Research Breakthrough with Gemini Deep Think

**Google's** Gemini Deep Think has advanced beyond academic competitions to tackle professional research problems across mathematics, physics, and computer science. After achieving Gold-medal standard at the International Mathematics Olympiad in 2025, the AI model has evolved to solve complex, open-ended scientific challenges that have puzzled researchers for years.

The **math research agent Aletheia**, powered by Gemini Deep Think, has produced several research advancements including a fully autonomous paper calculating structure constants in arithmetic geometry and human-AI collaboration proving bounds on complex particle systems. The system can identify flaws in solutions and iteratively refine them, a critical capability for research applications.
