Xiaomi confirmed its **Xiaomi 17T** series will officially launch on May 28, with the standard model arriving in India on June 4. The company's Indian branch shared the first detailed video of the non-Pro variant, showing a centered punch-hole display design that matches previous leaks.

The series debuts as "The Telephoto Master" featuring a **Leica 5x Telephoto** camera with 115mm equivalent focal length. Both models include 5x optical zoom, 10x optical-quality zoom, and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom capabilities. Rumors point to a 50MP telephoto sensor across both variants.

This marks Xiaomi's latest push into premium photography territory, leveraging its Leica partnership established with previous flagship models. The telephoto emphasis directly challenges competitors like Samsung's Galaxy S series and iPhone's computational photography in the zoom category.
