The Stanley Cup Final shifts to Raleigh for Game 5 with the series knotted at 2-2. Carolina enters as -162 favorites after four consecutive one-goal games, each tied entering the third period. Vegas's power play has vanished in the Final, converting just 1-of-12 opportunities after a 23.9% success rate earlier in playoffs.

Thursday also marks opening day of the **2026 FIFA World Cup** as South Korea faces Czechia in Guadalajara. The Koreans dominated qualifying, going unbeaten in 16 matches while outscoring opponents 40-8.
