Traditional tools charged per task, making complex workflows expensive. n8n changed that by pricing per execution regardless of steps. Its Fair-Code model allows free self-hosting, giving users data sovereignty and GDPR compliance. Developers benefit from full scripting support and debugging.

The platform also embraced AI Orchestration, adding over 70 LangChain nodes and connectors for ChatGPT, Claude, and local models. Seventy-five percent of its users now deploy AI features. As a result, enterprise giants are rethinking their strategies.
