Crescent Capital Group has completed the final close of its second collateralised loan obligation (CLO) equity fund, Crescent CLO Equity Funding II, securing $232 million in commitments. This amount is double the size of its predecessor fund, Crescent CLO Equity Funding I, which closed in 2018 with $103 million. The fund attracted investments from institutional investors, including global insurance companies and pension funds.

It will primarily focus on acquiring control positions in Crescent's own CLOs, while also retaining the flexibility to invest opportunistically in the debt of both Crescent-managed and third-party CLOs.
