Women's rugby league's four heavyweights collide in mouth-watering semi-finals this weekend, with Wembley and a Challenge Cup final appearance on 30 May the ultimate prize. Reigning champions Wigan face York Valkyrie in Warrington on Saturday (11:30 BST), while St Helens take on Leeds Rhinos in Doncaster on Sunday (13:00 BST). Both matches will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer as part of a historic double-header at the national stadium.

Wigan's all-conquering 2025 saw them storm to Wembley and thrash fierce rivals Saints under the arch, before adding the Grand Final to their trophy cabinet. Now the holders must overcome a new-look York side strengthened by Leon Pryce - a man who played in five winning finals and won the Lance Todd Trophy in 2007. Australian NRLW star Monique Donovan also made an impact in the quarter-final win over Huddersfield.

St Helens endured a trophyless 2025, watching rivals Wigan secure the prizes at their expense. Captain Emily Rudge is driving the Red Vee's hunger to return to glory, with Leah Burke fit again and Paige Travis back from a spell in the NRLW. Leeds, beaten by Saints in the last two finals, are equally desperate to end their Wembley wait.
