Warrington Wolves strengthened their position in the Super League table with a commanding 26-12 victory over Bradford Bulls at home. The win extends their perfect home record to nine matches across all competitions and moves them to second place behind Leeds Rhinos on points difference. Eighteen-year-old Ewan Irwin starred for the Wolves, scoring a crucial fourth try and contributing six points through goals.

Josh Thewlis opened scoring in the fifth minute after Jayden Okunbor's early sin-binning for a high tackle. Luke Thomas powered over for the second try while Bradford played with twelve men following Chris Atkin's green card. Albert Hopoate's acrobatic finish in the corner extended the lead to 16-0 before Jamie Gill gave Bradford hope before halftime.

Controversy struck when video referee Liam Rush disallowed Connor Wynne's try just before the break, ruling a foul in the build-up. The decision proved costly as Bradford's disciplinary issues continued with James Bentley also sin-binned. Irwin's dummy and Matty Ashton's long-range effort sealed a comfortable win for the hosts.

Bradford's sixth consecutive away defeat leaves them struggling at the wrong end of the table, while Warrington's momentum builds ahead of their game in hand against the league leaders. The Wolves have now won nine of their last ten matches in all competitions.
