Notts Outlaws maintained their T20 Blast North Group lead, narrowly defeating Lancashire by one run. Olly Stone defended nine runs in the final over at Trent Bridge, with Lancashire falling just short despite strong efforts from Keaton Jennings (42) and Liam Livingstone (47). This result keeps Yorkshire in second place following their own last-ball victory over Durham.

Yorkshire chased down 206 at Headingley, with Jonny Bairstow (66) and Moeen Ali (60) starring in a thrilling pursuit. Matthew Revis sealed the win with a six off the penultimate ball. In other North Group action, Worcestershire bowled Kent out for 59 to secure an 83-run victory, significantly boosting their net run rate.

Across the South Group, Essex hammered Sussex by 100 runs, powered by Michael Pepper's 47 and a remarkable 31-run final over from Simon Harmer. Sam Cook took 4-7 for Essex. Glamorgan also secured a win, chasing 185 against Warwickshire with Will Smale scoring 62. Lancashire's defeat leaves them third in the North Group.
