Emma Raducanu fought back from a slip‑induced thigh injury to defeat Kamilla Rakhimova 6-3 7-5 and book a place in the Queen's Club semi‑finals alongside fellow Brit Katie Boulter. The British No.1 left the court for treatment early in the second set, returned with her left thigh strapped, and immediately lost serve as Rakhimova pressed, and secured her ninth straight win on grass this season.

Raducanu’s coaching team shouted encouragement while she rebuilt momentum, breaking Rakhimova’s serve at 5‑4 and again later to convert her third match point. The 2021 US Open champion called the match “up‑and‑down,” grateful for the crowd’s support during the fall, and kept her ranking hopes alive for the British fans.

With the semi‑final scheduled for Saturday, Raducanu will meet American teenager Iva Jovic for a spot in Sunday’s final, while Boulter faces Croatia’s Donna Vekić. The British duo’s progress fuels local interest and adds pressure on the home crowd, who have not seen two home players this deep at Emma Raducanu since the early 2000s, bringing the tournament to its most competitive stage in recent memory.
