The Atlanta Hawks secured their first Southeast Division title since 2021 with a dominant 124-102 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawks needed only one win from their final two games to guarantee a top-six finish in the Eastern Conference, and CJ McCollum's 29 points helped them avoid the play-in tournament for the first time in five seasons.

Meanwhile, LeBron James reached another milestone, becoming the fourth player in NBA history to record 12,000 career assists during the Los Angeles Lakers' 101-73 win over the Phoenix Suns. James contributed 28 points and 12 assists as the Lakers clinched home-court advantage in the first round with their 15th win in 19 games. Only John Stockton, Chris Paul, and Jason Kidd have more assists than James's 12,010.

The Boston Celtics also made history, tying an NBA record with 29 three-pointers in their 144-118 rout of the New Orleans Pelicans. Sam Hauser led the way with eight three-pointers as Boston secured the second seed in the Eastern Conference and wrapped up the Atlantic Division title.
