Leeds Rhinos returned to the top of the Super League table with a 66-16 demolition of York Knights at AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium. Riley Lumb scored a hat-trick, while Chris Hankinson crossed three times. Debutant Matthew Lodge also crossed for Leeds.

For York, tries came from Sam Wood, Jon Bennison, and David Nofoaluma. Leeds head coach Brad Arthur praised the attacking intent, stating they didn't expect to score 66 points. York Knights coach Mark Applegarth expressed disappointment, citing composure and ruck control as areas needing improvement.

The result sees Leeds sit top of the table ahead of Wigan Warriors on points difference, while York remain in 12th position.
