Arlene Kelly and Alice Tector have recovered from injury to be named in Ireland's 14-player squad for their upcoming ODI series against England. The pair missed last month's 3-0 defeat by West Indies but are now included under head coach Lloyd Tennant. Gaby Lewis captains the squad with Orla Prendergast as deputy, fresh from The Hundred with Welsh Fire. Aimee Maguire, Sarah Forbes and Ava Canning remain unavailable through injury.

The series begins in Leicester on 1 September with subsequent matches in Derby (3 September) and Worcester (6 September). Ireland will play a warm-up fixture against an ECB Development XI on 29 August, while three squad members join an Emerging Ireland side in the ECB Super 4s from August 24-28.

Tector captains the under-19 side alongside Christina Coulter Reilly and Lara Mc Bride before joining the senior squad. Ireland selector Lauren Rowles emphasized the importance of the ICC Women's Championship 2025-29 cycle, stating that regular exposure to top sides benefits player development and competitiveness.
