Hull KR's hopes of a top-four finish in the Betfred Super League were dealt a blow when they suffered their second home defeat in five days. The Robins remain sixth after a 32-12 loss to Toulouse, now facing an away fixture in the first round of the play-offs next month.

Toulouse opened the scoring on 30 minutes when Mathieu Jussaume went over following a missed tackle. The visitors then dominated with tries from Romeo Tropis, Anthony Marion, Paul Ulberg, and Luke Polselli. Elliot Minchella and Louix Gorman scored for Hull KR, who made repeated costly mistakes and conceded needless penalties.

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters pointed to fatigue from playing a third game in ten days, alongside injury setbacks for James Batchelor, Ryan Hampshire, and Dean Hadley. He criticised the team’s poor discipline but credited Toulouse’s strong performance. The squad will now push through the remaining fixtures.
