Huddersfield Giants offer free entry to Catalans Dragons match

Super League strugglers Huddersfield Giants have announced free entry for their upcoming match against Catalans Dragons on Saturday, 8 August. This fixture at the Accu Stadium will also serve as the platform to reveal the club's plans for home games in 2027.

The West Yorkshire club is set to depart the Accu Stadium at the end of the season, a venue they have shared with Huddersfield Town since its opening in 1994. Owner Ken Davy recently withdrew from a bid to purchase The Shay stadium in Halifax and stepped down as chairman.

On the field, the Giants are currently at the bottom of the table, enduring a 12-match losing streak in Super League. Their season record shows only two wins from nineteen matches. Huddersfield Town assumed sole ownership of the Accu Stadium last September, and the Giants' search for a new purpose-built ground faced a setback when the council indicated their preferred site was not designated for sports development.
