Dragons forward Harri Keddie has earned a Wales call-up just as he prepares to become a father for the second time. The 29-year-old back-rower joins Rob Howley's squad after a decade-long journey from Wales Under-20s success to senior international recognition.

Keddie first tasted international rugby at 20 when he helped prepare the senior squad for autumn tests against Australia and South Africa. Back then, he trained alongside legends like Sam Warburton and Dan Lydiate. Ten years later, he returns as a fully-fledged squad member, ready to prove his worth at the highest level.

Like Olly Cracknell, who debuted at 31, Keddie represents perseverance rewarded. "I probably just had a mindset of focusing on performances for the Dragons," Keddie explained. His versatility across the back row and consistent regional form finally caught the selectors' attention.
