Italy's Filippo Ganna delivered a commanding performance in the Giro d'Italia's stage 10 time trial, winning by nearly two minutes. The 29-year-old Ineos rider finished 1:54 ahead of teammate Thymen Arensman, with Remi Cavagna third. Ganna averaged 54.921km/h over the 42km course, the longest Grand Tour time trial in over a decade.

Jonas Vingegaard's hopes of taking the pink jersey suffered a setback as the Danish rider finished 13th, three minutes behind Ganna. The two-time Tour de France winner gained time on race leader Afonso Eulalio but remains 27 seconds off the lead.
