Northampton Saints clinched a 45-31 semi‑final win over Leicester Tigers at Franklin’s Gardens, securing a place in the Premiership final. Captain George Furbank, playing his last home game for the club, crossed the line twice in the second half. Tom Litchfield added a hat‑trick, while Tommy Freeman contributed a try and five conversions. His first try came just after the break, extending the lead.

Leicester fought back with tries from Hanro Liebenberg, Freddie Steward and a brace by Ollie Hassell‑Collins, but the Tigers never closed the gap. Orlando Bailey’s effort kept them within striking distance, and a disallowed Elliot Millar Mills try highlighted the match’s intensity. Saints finished with 14 men after Craig Wright’s sin‑bin in the 78th minute. Leicester’s defence struggled to contain Saints’ rapid ball movement.

Top of the table after 18 regular‑season games, Northampton entered the semi‑final as favorites and delivered a decisive performance. Their victory sets up a Twickenham showdown against the winner of Bath versus Exeter Chiefs, while Leicester’s fourth‑place finish caps a strong debut season for Geoff Parling’s side. The Saints now aim to add a second title to their 2024 haul.
