British Para-skier Menna Fitzpatrick concluded her Milan-Cortina Winter Paralympics campaign in fifth place in the women's visually impaired slalom. The 27-year-old, Britain's most successful Winter Paralympian, suffered a significant anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury late last year, forcing her to postpone surgery to compete in her third Games. Despite saving her best performance for the final event after two sixth places and a ninth in the Alpine combined, Fitzpatrick expressed disappointment but focused on the positives. 'It's been a really successful Games for us, considering where I was before,' she stated, highlighting her team's effort.

Fitzpatrick now aims to compete in the 2030 Winter Paralympics in France, a location where she first learned to ski, calling it 'almost like going home.'.
