A 2019 World Cup winner with England, Plunkett brings serious sporting pedigree to his baseball experiment. His cricket career spanned 13 Tests, 89 ODIs and 22 T20s, yielding 201 wickets across formats. He currently plays for San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket but hasn't featured this season. Plunkett previously performed ceremonial first pitches for MLB clubs as an MLC ambassador, making this competitive debut a natural progression.
