England will play Pakistan and Sri Lanka in a one-day international tri-series in October, marking their first ODI tri-series since 2015. The tournament begins on 18 October when Pakistan faces Sri Lanka, with England entering the competition on 20 October in Rawalpindi against the hosts. Each team plays the others twice, with the top two finishers meeting in the final on 31 October in Lahore.

After the opening matches in Rawalpindi, England plays Pakistan on 25 October and Sri Lanka on 29 October, both in Lahore. The final will also be held in Lahore.

This tri-series kicks off England's winter schedule, immediately followed by three ODIs and five T20s against Australia starting 13 November. The tour continues with three Tests and three ODIs in South Africa, two Tests in Bangladesh, and the 150th anniversary Test in Melbourne against Australia in March.
