Dana White has credited Eddie Hearn for ensuring the heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua takes place in the UK, despite his own preference for a US venue. The fight is set for the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on 11 December, with the main event expected in the early hours of 12 December. White, UFC president and Zuffa Boxing chief, admitted he was 'bored' of the ongoing feud between the two camps.

While Saudi organisers and White wanted the bout at New York's Madison Square Garden, Joshua and Hearn held firm on their contractual right to host it domestically. The event, presented as a collaboration between Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and White, will be broadcast on Netflix. Tensions had risen due to a dispute over White’s role and his public feud with Hearn following the launch of Zuffa Boxing.

Hearn had previously stated White’s involvement 'ain't happening'. However, Fury and Joshua held a joint news conference on 30 September to ease concerns and confirm the fight's finalisation.
