Jonny Clayton surged back to the top of the Premier League Darts table with a dramatic 6-5 victory over Michael van Gerwen in Brighton. The Welshman's third nightly win of the 2026 campaign moved him to 24 points, overtaking Luke Littler and Gerwyn Price at the summit.

The victory marked an incredible comeback after Clayton trailed 5-2, mounting a four-leg surge capped by a bullseye finish to level the match. Clayton's triumph also avenged two recent losses to Josh Rock and sets up an intriguing chase as he declared it's now time for Littler to pursue him.

Elsewhere, Van Gerwen secured his fourth final appearance of the season with wins over Stephen Bunting and Gian van Veen, while Littler suffered his lowest-ever televised average of 83.94 in a 6-4 loss to Bunting. Defending champion Luke Humphries remains seventh after a quarter-final defeat to Clayton, leaving his Finals Night hopes in jeopardy as the season approaches its climax.
