Australia reached their fifth successive Women's Rugby League World Cup final, defeating Fiji 30-14 in a tense semi-final. Despite cruising through the group stages, the Jillaroos faced a major scare as debutants Fiji led 8-0 early on. Abbi Church scored four tries to lead the comeback, with Australia eventually prevailing.
They will face New Zealand in the final in Brisbane. Fiji's fearless performance, including an early lead through Luisa Yaranamua, marked a historic moment for the tournament debutants, though Australia's experience ultimately told in the end.
