Wolves Negotiate Raul Jimenez Free Transfer Return

Wolves have opened talks to bring back former striker Raul Jimenez on a free transfer. The 35-year-old Mexican forward was among players listed by Fulham to leave when his contract expires this month, potentially setting up an emotional return to Molineux.

Jimenez previously starred for Wolves from 2018 to 2023, netting 57 goals in 166 appearances. His 40 Premier League strikes make him the club's all-time leading scorer in the competition, establishing him as a genuine fan favorite during his first spell.

The move comes as Wolves look to rebuild after their disastrous campaign that saw them finish bottom of the Premier League and drop into the Championship. Manager Gary O'Neil needs proven goalscorers, and Jimenez's experience could prove vital in their promotion push.

Jimenez is currently away with Mexico's World Cup squad ahead of their opening match against South Africa on Thursday. A successful reunion would give Wolves a familiar face to lead their attack in English football's second tier.
