West Ham United have secured the services of England forward Ebony Salmon on a two‑year contract after her contract with Aston Villa expired. The 25‑year‑old earned four caps for England and logged 75 appearances for Villa before leaving at season’s end.

Salmon’s journey began in Villa’s academy, where she broke into the first team before moving to Manchester United in 2018. She later spent a season on loan at Sheffield United, joined Bristol City, and played in the United States with Racing Louisville and Houston Dash.

Her arrival marks West Ham’s seventh summer signing, following a campaign that finished third from bottom in the Women’s Super League. The club seeks to tighten its attack and avoid another relegation threat.

Salmon’s experience across English and American leagues brings a blend of pace and composure. Her presence should strengthen West Ham’s forward line, offering depth and a new attacking threat that could lift the club out of the lower end of the table.
