Thomas Frank feels Spurs board trust despite pressure

Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank insists he is "feeling the trust" of the club's hierarchy after a lunch with chief executive Vinai Venkatesham and other board members. The meeting, which Frank called "an extremely good sign," comes as Spurs lie 14th in the Premier League, having won just seven of 22 games this season.

Despite public backing, BBC Sport understands Frank is under significant scrutiny, with some executives considering ending his seven-month reign. Saturday's home defeat to West Ham added to the pressure, and large sections of the fanbase have already lost faith, taunting him with "sacked in the morning" chants.

Frank remains focused on results to win back supporters, stating, "It is not about me. It is about supporting the team." With only 11 outfield players available for Tuesday's crucial Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, a victory is vital to maintain hopes of automatic qualification for the knockout stages.
