Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris conceded West Ham were "simply better than us" after a 3-1 defeat at the London Stadium. The Hammers comfortably secured the Championship victory, leaving the Black Cats with a disappointing result on the road.
The loss highlights the gap between the two sides, with West Ham's quality proving decisive. For Sunderland, it's a setback in their promotion push, while the Hammers continue to build momentum in the league.
Looking ahead, Sunderland must quickly regroup. Le Bris will demand a response as his side aims to climb the Championship table. West Ham, meanwhile, will look to maintain their form in upcoming fixtures.
