Rangers are closing in on a deal for Scotland defender Ross Mc Crorie from Bristol City, with the 28-year-old versatile player set to return to Ibrox. The Light Blues are also preparing a formal offer for Dundee's 22-year-old centre-back Luke Graham in the coming weeks, as the club receives plenty of interest in the player this summer.

Celtic have submitted an improved offer for Sandefjord's 22-year-old centre-back Zinedin Smajlovic worth £3.9m plus bonuses, though the Norwegian club face competition from multiple European sides. The Hoops have also been linked with several other players including midfielder Miguel Chaiwa, while they failed to follow up on a video call with striker Elias Filet.

Hearts are looking for a fee between £2.6m to £3.4m for winger Alexandros Kyziridis, with the 25-year-old attracting interest from top Greek clubs including Olympiacos and PAOK. The club have also confirmed head coach Sabri Guendouz will arrive this week, having already said goodbye to fans at his previous club.

Several other Scottish players are on the move, with former Livingston forward Andrew Shinnie and released Newcastle defender Charlie Mc Arthur joining PFA Scotland's pre-season camp for out-of-contract players.
