Collum agreed that Liam Gordon's red card against Aberdeen was justified, but wants to review similar incidents where fouls occur near the halfway line.

Collum cited the Motherwell vs Aberdeen Scottish Cup quarter-final as a key example, where VAR review confirmed Gordon's dismissal for fouling Toyosi Olusanya. The refereeing chief explained that the decision hinged on the Aberdeen player's ability to capitalize on a defensive error. He emphasized the need for consistency through the season's final months.

Other incidents under review include Rangers' Mikey Moore challenge and Celtic's Auston Trusty red card against Hibernian. Collum defended Trusty's dismissal for excessive force but suggested the Moore incident warranted an on-field review and red card for Cammy Kerr. The discussions aim to clarify DOGSO interpretations before the season concludes.
