Oxford City midfielder Scott Pollock believes there is "no reason" his side cannot beat his beloved Leicester City in the FA Cup first round. The National League North side host the former Premier League and FA Cup winners at The MGroup Stadium on Friday, 6 November, under the lights on their artificial pitch. Pollock, who joined the non-leaguers in July, is relishing facing his boyhood club.

A Leicester fan who had goalkeeper trials with the Foxes as a youngster, Pollock switched to outfield after being turned down. He was part of the Northampton Town side that beat League One opponents 2-1 in a 2020 FA Cup giant-killing. "The pressure's on them to do well in the league and in the cup," he added. "We're at home and we know the pitch."

Pollock's career began with Hashtag United, where he won a YouTube academy series out of 20,000 applicants. He starred in the Wembley Cup, earned a Crystal Palace trial, then made 29 senior appearances for Northampton before joining Oxford City in July. Oxford City v Leicester City kicks off at 19:45 GMT.
