Stephen Robinson has called for togetherness as he faces his biggest managerial challenge at Aberdeen. The Northern Irishman, who took charge just last month after leaving St Mirren, acknowledged the Dons' precarious position in the Scottish Premiership relegation fight.

Robinson described the task as 'one of the biggest challenges' of his career, with Hibs visiting Pittodrie for only his fourth match in charge. The former St Mirren boss emphasized his focus on building confidence within the squad, reminding players of their recent Scottish Cup triumph while confronting their current struggles.

With top-division survival now the immediate priority, Robinson praised his squad's response during training this week. 'Nobody has gone hiding, nobody is looking for excuses,' he stated, expressing belief that both players and staff are ready to 'fight and scrap' their way out of danger. The 48-year-old manager stressed that while scrutiny will come at season's end, the present focus remains on securing crucial points to maintain their Premiership status.
