Tottenham and Brazil forward Richarlison are in dispute over the remaining nine months of his contract. The player, 29, is eager to leave following the collapse of a proposed deadline day move to Everton. Sources indicate Richarlison is keen to be released, but Spurs are not considering allowing him to walk away for nothing.

The north London club holds a 12-month option to extend the deal until the end of next season. Talks between the club and the player's representatives are ongoing to find a resolution. The attacker has been omitted from the Premier League squad.

Brazilian side Vasco de Gama are interested in signing the forward, who is believed to be keen to return to his homeland. Tottenham were in line to earn £35m, but the Everton move failed because the forward failed to agree personal terms.
