Wales international Rabbi Matondo has completed a permanent move from Rangers to Norwegian club SK Brann after two years at Ibrox. The 25-year-old winger joined Rangers from Schalke in summer 2022 for an undisclosed fee and was approaching the final months of his contract.

Matondo made 70 appearances for Rangers but fell out of favor, with his last start coming in February. He spent the previous season on loan at Hannover before returning to Glasgow, where he featured only as a substitute in all three appearances this season. The move to Brann provides Matondo with a fresh start in Norway's top flight.

Brann finished fourth in last year's Eliteserien and will compete in the Conference League second qualifying round. The Bergen-based club has struggled early in the 2026 season, losing both opening fixtures. Matondo could make his debut against HamKam on Monday as Brann looks to climb the table.
